Cardiovascular Risk

Measuring and reducing cardiovascular and cardiometabolic risk across Indonesia's health system.

Overview

About the center.

The Cardiovascular Risk Center studies the distribution, drivers, and management of cardiometabolic risk in Indonesia, drawing on population surveys, national insurance claims, and facility data. Its work spans composite risk estimation, behavioural exposures such as tobacco use, and the performance of primary care in detecting and managing hypertension, diabetes, and dyslipidaemia. Findings are translated into interactive tools and policy-facing reports that support equitable, geographically targeted prevention and care.
