Tool
HTA Watchdog
A drug health technology assessment and clinical-guideline coverage review tool for Indonesia, tracking how medicines are appraised, recommended, and listed for public coverage.
What this tool is
HTA Watchdog reviews how individual medicines are assessed and where they sit in clinical guidelines and coverage decisions relevant to Indonesia. It draws together health technology assessment findings and guideline references so that the evidence behind a drug, and the gaps in it, can be inspected in one place. The tool is built to support policy review, formulary discussion, and assessment work rather than to issue recommendations on its own.
Questions it answers
- Has a given drug been formally assessed, and what did the assessment conclude?
- How is the drug positioned in clinical guidelines relevant to Indonesia?
- Where does the cost-effectiveness or coverage evidence remain thin or unsettled?
- Which drugs in a therapeutic area carry the strongest case for review?
- How do international appraisals and listings compare for the same medicine?
- What is the gap between available evidence and current coverage status?
